Life is Hard. Wear a Helmet

Virginia State Constitution: Article 1; Section 13
That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper, natural, and safe defense of a free state, therefore, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; that standing armies, in time of peace, should be avoided as dangerous to liberty; and that in all cases the military should be under strict subordination to, and governed by, the civil power.

Saturday Morning Coffee #54

This is my only day home this week, and the day Miss B is inducted into Phi Theta Kappa.

No free ice cream. I'll see what I can find to blog about down in Bama and Georgia.

Marko Kloos just put out his first novel.

Go. Buy. Read.

P.S. - The Major is still considered the most eloquent proponent of 2nd Amendment rights.
          Way to go, Marko.

You might want to go keep an eye on the induction ceremony. I've heard they can be pretty cruel, and you don't want videos of Miss B standing in line, in her underwear, covered with ice water and saying: "Yes mam. Please may I have another?"

Congrats to Mrs B and that sucked for Jack and the people of the town. Teach them to drink booze instead of water.

Not that kind of induction Jess. It's an honor society. She's a geek.

I'm going to assume everyone just mis-read the post. Otherwise, it would mean that my daughter is getting inducted into an honor society, and all my blog-buddies are dropping by to congratulate my wife on raising such a fine young lady.
Ha Ha.
